Studio17 is the place where passion, professionalism and experience come together to offer aesthetic treatments of the highest standard. For over 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to body and facial care with a tailored and ever-evolving approach, selecting the most innovative techniques and high-end products such as Valmont, HydraFacial and Alma Lasers equipment.

Thanks to our well-established know-how and continuous refresher courses, we guarantee a service where the manual skills of our carefully and passionately trained beauticians meet state-of-the-art technology. The goal is always one: to provide visible and lasting results, in full respect of the skin's balance and health.

Milestones

1977

Studio opening at 17 Via Motta

1980

The studio moved to its historic premises at 32 Via Nassa, where it remains today.

1982

The studio is now larger and the address is prestigious, the "Maison de Beauté CARITA" in Paris thus granting the opening of the first CARITA "Cabine de Beauté" in Lugano.

1985

Via Nassa and Lugano were living their golden years, with Crossair you could reach Paris in a short time and our beauticians were constantly training at CARITA's headquarters at 11 rue Faubourg St. Honoré in Paris.

1987

We have reached the first 10 years since opening.

1989

The firm's premises were completely refurbished to a design by renowned interior designer Manuela Bonjour.

1995

We are starting a collaboration with the prestigious Swiss cellular cosmetics company Valmont, which is joining Carita in cabin treatments.

1997

Fast forward 20 years and the firm is now a reference for international clients in Lugano.

2003

Introduction of the first LPG Endermologie device in Lugano.

2007

We celebrate by blowing out 30 candles.

2015

We needed more space and expanded by occupying the entire 3rd floor. The renovation work is again entrusted to architect Manuela Bonjour, who has followed us all these years. In the same year, we open a booth dedicated to the House of Sisley Paris, famous for its phytotherapy products.

2017

We celebrate 40 years in business and in this same year we are the first to import, directly from California, the innovative HydraFacial device, destined to become the most imitated system in the beauty world for cleansing and facial care in recent years.

2020

The world of aesthetics is undergoing a profound transformation due to the arrival of new technologies on the market. After meticulous research, the choice fell on Alma Lasers, a world leader in the sector.

2023

Soprano Titanium from Alma Lasers is the Gold Standard of laser hair removal.

2024

Accent Prime by Alma Lasers, finally the efficacy customers are looking for for face and body.

2025

We are announcing the arrival of Harmony Pro XL from Alma Lasers with 3 innovative non-ablative laser handpieces with exceptional features.

I have been a director and aesthetics professional at Studio17 for over 30 years. In this long journey, I have learnt that each person is unique and deserves tailor-made attention.

My philosophy is based on the combination of technical expertise and human sensitivity: I firmly believe in the importance of continuous training and the constant search for innovations, because this is the only way to offer effective, cutting-edge solutions.

I work alongside a team of passionate beauticians and professionals, carefully trained and up-to-date on the latest cosmetics and technologies. Our common goal is to make each client feel welcome, followed with precision and accompanied towards real and lasting results. I am convinced that beauty is a journey that starts from within: this is the mission that guides us every day at Studio17.
